High heat is unpleasant for human beings. It is just a unpleasant for dogs. When the temperature goes overboard, your dog could start feeling lethargic. Or worse, it could die of a heatstroke.

Conversely, during the cold winter months, your car could become a freezer and turn your dog into an ice sculpture. Always take your dog with you when you exit your car.
